BARBRA ARIONUS
October 18, 1936 ˜ October 6, 2023

Barbra Arionus, a longtime resident of La Center, WA, passed away on Oct. 6, 2023. She is survived by her husband, Jim; daughters, Denise (Tom) McDonald and Terry Coonrod-Wieber; sons, Craig Coonrod and Brian (Michelle) Coonrod; stepchildren, LuAnn (John) Filby, Rhonda (Russell) Poland, and Jamie (Rick) Speck. She was preceded in death by son, Jeremy Arionus; stepson, Dan Arionus; parents, Caleb Rhodehouse and Opal Rhodehouse Collins; brother, Gary Rhodehouse; and sister, Vickie Goodman.
She was born in Rexburg, ID, and moved as a small child to Vancouver, WA.
She loved to work in the garden and plant flowers.
She loved to travel, journeying to Bora Bora, Costa Rica, Australia, Aruba and Mexico many times.
She did volunteer work for many years as a Guardian Ad Litem, which she found quite rewarding.
She worked in the international department of Columbia Machine.
She spent many years as the secretary and bookkeeper for her husband’s company, Orchards Wallboard.
Everyone that knew her, knew of her love of all animals, especially dogs, and she owned and loved many in her lifetime.
She and Jim share 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of NAMI and the Battle Ground Moose.
She was very much loved and will be greatly missed.
Services will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens on Oct. 17 at 12:30 p.m.
