Charzette Vanderpool (Kilgore), age 68, passed away unexpectedly in her home in Woodland, Washington on Thursday, January 15th.

Charzette was an independent, strong-willed woman who was fiercely devoted to her family. She was deeply proud of her children and grandchildren and was known as a loving protector whose loyalty and care ran deep.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry Vanderpool; her children, Patrick Kilgore, Shannon Shaw, and Marissa Kirby; and her grandchildren: Grace and Emma Kilgore; Hunter, Cole, Tanner, and Shelby Williams; and Mary, Ella, and Alice. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Eileen Wakefield, and grandchildren Wesley and Hallie; her mother, Mary Kilgore; her sister, Cindy Quist; her brother, Joe Kilgore; and many extended family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Al Kilgore; her brother, Pat Kilgore; her sister, Michelle Kilgore; and her nephew, Ray Quist.

Charzette will be remembered for her strength, devotion, and unwavering love for her family. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
