THURMAN CLEO "T.C." WARREN
January 29, 1927 - January 2, 2014

T.C. Warren, 86, passed peacefully at the Ray Hickey Hospice House in Vancouver, WA after a long battle with Leukemia on Thurs., Jan. 2, 2014. He was born in Dora, Missouri to Claudie C. Warren and Myrtle E. Warren on Jan. 29, 1927.
T.C. joined the U.S. Army in May 1945 serving in Germany, Korea, Vietnam and many locations within the U.S. until retiring from serving his country June 1, 1969. He then went on to the field of building maintenance last working for the Westin Benson Hotel until Feb. 1989.
He loved bowling, horseshoes, spending many days at Ocean Park, WA at his beach property, traveling and RVing with many friends in the Cascade Sams. He was a member of The American Legion, Moose, and VFW and Immanuel Lutheran Church. During the last 5 years he and Margie enjoyed snowbirding at their home in Mesa, AZ.
T.C. is survived by his wife, Margie, of 38 years; son, Larry G. (Anna) Warren of Damascus, OR; daughter, Celeste (Brenda) Warren of Portland, OR and grandson, Caleb Warren of Damascus, OR, numerous nieces and nephews, and was loved by many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Claudie and Myrtle; brother, Millard; sister, Velda DeFrancisco; daughter, Joyce Ann Hixson and grand-daughter, Molly Ann McMahon.
A viewing will be held on Wed., Jan. 8, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens; a military memorial service with Honor Guard will be held there on Thurs., Jan. 9, 2014 at 12:30 p.m.
