Helen Vale Obituary

HELEN THERESA VALE Helen Theresa Vale died peacefully on Fri., Dec. 16, 2005 at Vancouver Health and Rehab in Vancouver, WA. Born on Oct. 20, 1921 in Newport, IN. She was 84 years old, a devout Christian, and a loving mother and grandmother. Throughout her 60 year nursing career, she touched many lives. Helen Hughes married Harold Vale on December 6, 1946 in Billings, MT. He preceded her in death in 1975, as well as her brother, Guy Hughes during WWII. Helen is survived by her sons, Jack (Mary) Vale of Seattle, WA, Paul (Louise) Vale of Denver, CO, Harold (Vernelle) Vale of Las Vegas, NV; daughters, Phyllis (John) Smith of Loveland, CO, Conra (John) Rapp of Vancouver, WA; Theresa (Stephen) Jacob of Portland, OR; Lorna (Bill) Ingenthron Vancouver, WA. She is also survived by grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Olson, Jeff (Charity) Vale, Mike Vale, Susie Vale, Rachael (Bill) Hay, Jessica (Mike) Perez, Bob and Kyle West, Benjamin and Sarah Vale Rapp, Dustin, Caitlyn and Jackson Wilshire, Sheena and Sean Ingenthron; great-grandchildren, Anna, Molly and Brett Olson, Maggie and Joelle Vale, Nathan and Samuel Hay and baby Perez. A Memorial and Celebration of Life for Helen will be held Sat., Jan. 7, 2006 at 10:00 am at New Heights Church located at 7913 NE 58th Avenue in Vancouver, WA in the Summit Room. Remembrances of Helen Vale may be donated to the Senior Van Fund at New Heights Church.
