Uncle Artie found joy in everything and in everyone.
Anyone who met Uncle Artie met is better for having known him. He showed us the best way to live -- savoring every moment, extracting happiness at each turn, living every day to its fullest. In this way, Uncle Artie defined a life well lived.
Uncle Artie gave me a lot to remember: his stories and his great humor; his feasts and gatherings; his enthusiasm; his caring; his encouragement; how he was the life of the party.
Uncle Artie, we’ll be thinking of you as you head to the Happy Hunting Grounds. You will be missed.
Aunt Vera, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My memory of uncle Artie comes from when I was 10. We visited while traveling cross country in our camper. I'll never forget the Polar Bear rug and how he captivated me with his story of the hunt. When we returned home, he mailed me some of the Polar Bear's fur to use for tying fishing flies. Tight LInes and Good Hunting in Heaven!

Hi Uncle Artie...
Your presence always filled the room with love and laughter, people just felt better being around you. Heaven is lucky to have you and you will be missed. I know that my Mom and Nana were there to welcome you. Much love and God Speed to you on this last adventure.

Artie has been a great friend and hunting partner. Great lunches with a good bottle of wine make for lifetime memories. Until later.

Dear Art, what sunshine you brought into Vera's life so many years ago -- and the joy you gave to Tim and Carol as a loving father. Thank you for loving Nana Shea and always making her feel so welcome. She loved you for YOU and how much you loved Vera and the kids. And me and my kids, too -- that goes without saying.
Vera, Tim, and Carol, we love you and grieve with you. May God strengthen you during this time... It will be but a season before we all join Artie.
Love, Barb
aka Sis/Auntie Barbara (and Don, too).

Art was always the life of the party. He always had so much fun entertaining everybody else. Here's hoping they have the best milkshakes and Manhattan's waiting for you up there. Heaven will never be the same with you there.

There is honor in a well-lived life. There is healing in remembering. Uncle Artie lived his life with enthusiasm, caring about his fellow man and loved his family and friends. We will always love him and miss him. Peace be with " Auntie Vera" and family.

We have the very distinct memory of Artie "playing the spoons" at Dad's 80th birthday party. He was (is) the life of the party. Artie, you are missed. But you sure brighten our memories.
