V. VIC VOSSLER
November 26, 1942 ~ July 2, 2017
On Nov. 26, 1942, in Wishek, ND, Edmund and Olinda Vossler brought into this world a son who would grow into a selfless, caring, amazing man.
Known for his ability to relate to kids, Vic naturally followed his heart and worked in several school districts (LaCenter, Baker, Kent) before settling in the Evergreen School District where he worked as a counselor for 37 years. Quick with a joke or a harmless prank, his sense of humor was one of his best assets. Whenever he flashed that sly grin, you knew a witticism was bound to follow.
A die hard University of Washington fan, Vic is survived by his wife of 45 years, Deborah; and a daughter/granddaughter, Sierra, of the home; a son, Christopher; a daughter, Erin; and three other grandchildren. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Margie Brown of Vancouver.
There will be a Celebration of Life the evening of July 13 at the family home beginning at 5 pm. If directions are needed, e-mail [email protected].
Donations may be made in Vic's honor to Friends of the Carpenter or the Dougy Center.
