MARK WILLIAM FRITZLER
May 10, 1977 ˜ October 8, 2022
Mark William Fritzler, formerly of Vancouver, died of natural causes Oct. 8, 2022, at his home in Santee, CA.
He was born May 10, 1977, to Randal and Barbara Fritzler. Mark grew up in Hockinson and graduated from Prairie High School in 1995. He obtained a BA in Business Administration after attending Shoreline Community College in Seattle and Cascade College in Portland. He was an avid sports enthusiast and played basketball in high school and college.
Mark moved to San Diego in 2003. He started as a manager for Hertz before beginning a 15-year career in Property Management. He worked for multiple high profile real estate companies, most recently for Scripps Health. He was a well-respected leader, a mentor to many and a friend to all.
Mark married Veronica de Miranda of San Diego in 2007 and is survived by their two children whom he adored, Kevin (9) and Olivia (14). They were his brightest stars and he continues to be theirs. He was a dedicated supporter of his children’s athletic and artistic pursuits. A Go Fund Me account has been established to preserve his efforts in that regard. https://gofund.me/2f3d52e8
In addition to his parents and children, Mark is survived by his brothers, David (Jocelyne) of Takoma Park, MD, and Jon (Rebecca) of Vancouver; his sister, Beth Kraabel (Tim) of Vashon, WA; his aunts, Rhonda Clapp of Pasco, WA, and Elizabeth Walters of Princeton, NJ; as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and close, loyal friends.
He was predeceased by his grandparents George and Laurine Fritzler of Vancouver and William and Sara Jane Walters of Lincoln, NE.
Mark was always willing to help others and touched many with his sense of humor, spirit of adventure, and joy in life. We are all saddened by our collective loss. There will be a celebration of his life in Santee, CA, on Nov. 6th.
