GARY W. PILLETTE
November 21, 1953 ˜ September 6, 2025

It is with great sadness that the family of Gary W. Pillette announces his peaceful passing on September 6, 2025, at the age of 71.
Gary was born on November 21, 1953, to Jim and Dorothy Pillette at Fairchild Air Force Base in Spokane, Washington.
In his formative years, he attended St. Charles Parochial School until the age of 15 when his family moved to Camas, Washington, where he then attended Camas High School. He began work at Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill in 1973 where he would spend the entirety of his work life, retiring in 2012.
Gary was known for being a man of honesty and integrity, and his deep love for his family and close friends. He enjoyed a lifetime of friendship with his two brothers and his sister. Gary’s most cherished times were spent among his family and friends where he would always brighten up the party through his laughter, humor, and his quest for having a good time.
He is survived by his wife, Darci Pillette; her daughters, Mandy Noble and Shelby Noble; his daughter, Misty Loots; and son; Richard Fraga; and brothers, Jim Pillette and wife, Sue Pillette; Mark Pillette and wife, Nancy Pillette; his grandchildren, Randy James, Amanda James, Beth James, Kendra Fraga, Stone Fraga, Faith Fawler, and Kendall Resio; along with two great-grandchildren and several nieces and grandnieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim Pillette; mother, Dorothy Pillette; and sister, Carolyn Pillette.
Gary’s sudden passing leaves a marked absence in the lives he was a part of, and his presence will be greatly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at Orchard Hills Golf Course in Washougal, WA, on Sunday, October 19, from 3 p.m.-5 p.m.
