Fay Dixon Obituary

FAY J. DIXON Fay J. Dixon, age 85, passed away on June 9, 2005, in Vancouver. She was born on Sept. 27, 1919, in Ogden, Utah. She was raised and educated in the Odgen, Salt Lake City area. Fay married Paul A. Dixon on April 30, 1942. He preceded her in death in 1984. She worked as a head house parent for the Washington State School for the Blind for 20 years. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist faith. She loved to sew, garden, travel, crafts, antiquing, spending time with her grandchildren, and volunteer work. Survivors include daughters, Caroline Boyd of Beaverton, OR, Sandra Elton, of Vancouver, WA; brother, Robert Boswell of Salt Lake City, Utah; sister, Roberta Clough of Lakeview, OR; five granddaughters and four great-grandchildren. Memorial services will begin at 1:00 pm, on Friday, June 17, 2005 at Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday. Private burial will be at Northwood Park Cemetery. Contributions to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements under the care of Vancouver Funeral Chapel.
