EARL E. JOHNSON
October 23, 1945 ˜ June 24, 2021

Earl E. Johnson, aka “Papa”, age 75, passed away June 24, 2021. He was born Oct. 23, 1945, and was the oldest of three children. He was predeceased in death by his parents and his brother, John. He leaves behind his wife, Karen Johnson; one sister, Joyce Johnson; one son, Eddie Dean Johnson (Maxine); four stepchildren, Wade Frauen (Leah), Rhonda Frauen-Hite (Don), Tauna Wishon and Tracy Frauen; 11 grandchildren, Cam, Mariah, Makalii, Andrew, James, Brai, Cody, Casey, Jett, Niki, and Hailey; eight great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; cousins; and his two Boston Terriers - Toby and Oliver.
Earl graduated from Evergreen High School in 1964. From 1964 to 1968, he was in the Army and spent eight months in Vietnam. Earl worked many years as a long-haul truck driver with Widing Transportation and Arrow Trans Driving. Earl loved his wife, Karen, and his family beyond measure. He also loved his friends, his dogs, the football pool, NASCAR races, casinos, poker games and golf with his “poker buddies”, going to the beach, visiting family in Lake Chelan, and just quiet time at his most comfortable home. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled at Evergreen Memorial, Vancouver, WA, Aug. 13, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. Immediately following the service will be a celebration of life at the American Legion at 4607 NE St. James Road, Vancouver, WA, 98663.
Flowers and condolences may be offered at Evergreen Memorial. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Epilepsy Foundation Washington at 2311 N. 45th Street, #134, Seattle, WA 98103.
