Chine Jones Obituary

Chine Montgomery Jones, 44, died October 27, 2006 in Brush Prairie, WA. He was born October 8, 1962 in Lebanon, IN. A 33-year resident of Clark County residing the past 10 years at his current home in Brush Prairie, he worked as a Service Technician in the automatic door industry. Chine attended Hockinson Community Church and Brush Prairie Baptist Men's Group. A Volunteer Fireman with District #3 for a number of years, he coached baseball and umpired for Highland Little League Baseball. He enjoyed hunting, camping, playing golf, traveling, tinkering with cars and helping others. Chine is survived by wife, Lindy, at home; parents, Harlin and Marsha of Brush Prairie; sons, Kyle, Clayton and Jacob, all at home; brother, Josh of Portland, OR; and sisters, Jan Jones and Tracie Rouse, both of Brush Prairie. Funeral services will take place Thurs., November 2, 2006, 10:00am, at Brush Prairie Baptist Church, Vancouver. Viewing will be on Wed., November 1, 2006, 6-8pm, at Layne's Funeral Home Chapel, Battle Ground. Donations may be made to "One Another Fund" at Hockinson Community Church or Men's Group at Brush Prairie Baptist Church. We have lost a much loved father, husband, son, and brother. Chine's was an amazing soul: kind and generous, loved and respected by so many. His family and friends were the most important things in his life and his passing has left an empty place in all of our hearts.
