Dear Torrie!
Well son it was 11 years ago tonight that I got the call from your wife Kim that your truck had ran over you! It´s a phone call that we will never forget!
I had just talked to you and that was the last timer I heard your voice and last time I heard you say love you mom and talk with you tomorrow. It´s still hard to believe that you are gone. You are thought about everyday. Always in our hearts never forgotten.
Your sister, Mike,Vonnie, Amber and her family as well as your family in Missouri reached out to dad and I saying they were thinking of you. You are missed more than words can describe.
Remember to KEEP SMILING until we meet again. Love and miss you forever!

Happy New Year 2026! Yes a New Year has come! Hope you guys rang in the New Year with family and friends in heaven! We had a quiet New Year. There was a lot of fireworks going off!

Had dialysis today which makes me tired. The weather is wet and cold! I´m ready for the sun to come out!

Happy 4th of July! Hope you had a fun safe day! Dad, Michael and I walked down and watch the annual 4th of July parade! It was a good day! After the parade we went over to John and Cathy´s for a BBQ. John grilled hamburgers and brats. Cathy made potatoes and baked beans. I took fruit and brownies! We had a good time! They are nice people. Always visit with us when they come down to beach. Michael is going back to Vancouver tomorrow to spend time with Allison before he flys back to Texas on Tuesday!
Aunt Ronda and Teddy are supposed to come down on Sunday! Dad and I have to go to Vancouver on Thursday for Dr appointments!
Took dad´s truck to the shop on Thursday to get right manifold replaced!

Happy 53 Birthday Torrie! Hope Kim and Grandma Christie made you a birthday dinner and a special dessert just for you! Dad and I have been thinking of you all day! Can´t believe you would have been 53 today! Don´t know where the time has gone! The picture of you and dad in front of his 55 was sent to us today from Michael! He always remembers your birthday and how much he misses you! He will be here tomorrow to spend the week with us. He is back from Texas for a visit!
We took Karen and Kenny out to dinner on Saturday for there 53 wedding anniversary! Had a nice visit! They always come to visit us when they come down to the beach!
Still doing my dialysis twice a day! Have to go to Astoria on Wednesday to get my blood drawn and then have to take the truck to Warrenton to get new exhaust manifolds as the ones on truck are cracked. They say it´s not uncommon on ford and dodge trucks!
Leroy text and invited us to come up to his house for the 4th of July. We are just going to stay home possibly going over to John and Cathy´s!
Well son hope you had a great birthday in heaven! We would have a cake and ice cream if you would have been here with us! Maybe we will get a cake next week when we go to Vancouver for you! Happy Father´s Day son! Hope you and the other dads in our family in heaven had a wonderful day. Hopefully Kim, grandma and Aunt Katie fixed you all a wonderful Father´s Day dinner.
Dad and I took my car down to the Elks in Longbeach for a car show! It was put on by Bill Walker´s daughter and her car club! We took first place with the car. Dad was going to take the Plymouth but it wouldn´t start. He thinks the balos resister is bad again!
Torrie mom is so sorry that I haven´t written to you for a long time. Ever since the first of this year my kidneys quite working. I had to go on dialysis then my dialysis port quit draining properly. Had to be hospitalized for 10 and a hemodialysis port inserted into my neck. I´m back home and doing my dialysis morning and night. It is very time consuming! Drs are hoping my kidneys will start working again. Dad and I pray every night that they will.
Well your nephews Justin and Tristin graduated last Friday night! It´s hard to believe that they are that old. Tristin is will be going up to Western Washington in Bellingham in September for college and Justin is going to play baseball for LLC in Longview! Him and Graham will be there together! He got chosen to play in the All Star baseball game a couple of weeks ago and he´s going up to Yakima next weekend to play in another All Star game. Your sister and Jason are going to Nashville on Tuesday.
Yesterday dad, Chad and I went down to Saturday market in Ilwaco with John and Cathy Knapp. Then we went over to their house for a bbq!
Yesterday was your brother Chad´s 50th birthday! Guess they had a party for him at Docs tavern!
Well son we miss you more than anything. Sure wish you could be here to help dad and I! Dad has some health issues that we are dealing with! It´s awful getting old! Hope Kim is doing okay. I saw on Facebook were her kids came to Longbeach and spread some of her and your ashes!
I promise I will start writing to you on a monthly basis like I had been. It is still so hard not being able to pick up phone and call you or you call us.

We came to Vancouver today so I could get my hair done! Then we went to your nephew Tristin´s drama productions of Old Town! It was very good. I don´t know how he can remember all his lines .

Happy Valentine´s Day! Hope you and Kim had a wonderful Valentine dinner! Dad and I stayed home and I baked a chicken thigh with potatoes and steamed some asparagus! It was very good!
Torrie sorry I didn´t write you on the anniversary of your death this month. It has been a very busy month. We had grandpa Bliss celebration of life on the 8th of February. Had a nice turnout. Cousins from Yakima Valley came! Teddy did a wonderful job on putting slide show together! Your sister did a great job about grandpa life! Dad and I sure miss him. Dad had a cold lasr week but is much better now! Chad has one now. Your sisters family has had cold also.
We had snow last week and it snowed yesterday but it is all gone just rain now. Heather said they have 6 inches. Kids missed school Thursday and Friday! Justin starts high school baseball the first of March and Tristin has a drama production coming up in March also! Sean wasn´t able to be at grandpa service as he has been working in Utah. Suppose to be home this weekend and then guess he´s going to Bellingham.

Happy belated New Year´s Torrie and Kim! Sorry I didn´t write to you on New Year´s Day. Dad and I have been busy with grandpa Bliss. He was in the hospital off and on from December 11. He was discharged back to the AFH on December 30th and hospice was called. He was stable when dad and I left for home! Then Tuesday morning I had to go to urgent care for UTI and kidney infection. When we got home from urgent care I called the AFH and they said he was stable. Then about 20 minutes later they called and said he had passed. So I´m hoping you and kim met him at the pearly gates and have had a wonderful reunion with your grandpa!
We are planning a celebration of life for him end of January or first of February! The Happy New Year picture is a puzzle that I put together!
Well son it was 10 years ago tonight that you became a bright star in the sky and an angel in heaven! Dad made a fire tonight but had to ask for your help to get it started! That´s the second picture I have enclosed. Son Aunt Ronda, Teddy, Michael, Amber, Jeff and your sister all sent messages that they were thinking of you. Dear Torrie and Kim!
Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you guys had a wonderful turkey dinner and all the fixings. I´m sure Grandma Christie and Aunt Katie made you guys a wonderful dinner!
Dad and I came up to Heathers. We went and picked up grandpa Bliss and brought him along. We had a wonderful dinner. Heather fixed ham stuffing green bean casserole veggie tray and I fixed a turkey and brought marionberry, chocolate cream and key lime pies for dessert. I also made brownies and rice krispy treats. Needless to say we didn´t go hungry!
We had a heavy frost this morning at home. Was 33 degrees. At least it wasn´t raining. We have had alot of rain and wind. We lost power last week for 8 hours.
Going to get my hair done tomorrow and then going to take grandpa Bliss up to Stevenson so he can visit with people at Rock Cove and then going to Connie´s so I can get some checks so can pay his rent.
Chad was going to his friends from Doc´s for Thanksgiving and Sean said he was working!
Heather and Tristin are going Black Friday shopping.

Dear Torrie and Kim!
Happy Halloween. This was one of your favorite holidays. We know you would have had your condo decorated to the maxs!
Pictures I have included were some of the decorations we put up at home. Of course we don´t have any little gobblins that come to the house. That is something. At least we had a few stop by house in Vancouver!

Torrie! Here is your nephew Justin with the 4 point mule deer he shot last Saturday. Told him his uncle would have been proud of him. He responded by say yes!

Good evening son! Well mom missed up again. It was 9 years 8 months last night that you left us. Don´t worry you aren´t forgotten. Dad and I talk about you daily!
Dad put up Halloween decorations yesterday. I told him you would have had your condo all decorated. We knew Halloween was one of your favorite holidays.
Last Tuesday was your grandpa Bliss 96 birthday! Dad and I took him to the eye doctor in Hood River then went back to his home. We had birthday cake for him and the other residents. Heather and Tristin also were there! I´ve enclosed his birthday picture!
Well dad and I were supposed to go to Florida with your sister Jason and Justin for a baseball tournament but hurricane Milton was scheduled to hit landfall on Wednesday. So needless to say it was canceled. They are now scheduled for California so we are leaving on Friday and coming home Sunday night. It will be a quick trip but at least we will get to see your nephew play!
We are still waiting for them to get the repairs in the house from the water leak. Will be so glad to get it done so we can get the house cleaned and back in order.
Your brother Chad had a new hip replacement on the 16th of September. He came back to beach on Monday. He was staying with some friends of his in Hockinson.
Laken called the other day. Said she went to see grandpa plus Gavin had eye appointment. Said they were all doing well. Saw Shane on grandp´s birthday . Him and his girlfriend are going to Portugal end of month. Sean is working at Boeing in troutdall.
Well son mom is going to get ready for bed! We are staying night at your sisters tonight. Dad and I got pedicures today and I got my nais done for Halloween candy corn!

Dear Torrie!
Well Rod Run 2024 has come and gone! You would be very proud of your dad. He has worked so hard to get it drivable. Yes dad was able to get it started and running. We took it to the show and it won a trophy! State Farm office from Long Beach was the trophy sponsor! We had a good weekend. It was a busy one.! We both our tired. He´s going to clean them all up tomorrow!
Deb and Ed stopped by the field on their way home from boat show in Port Townsend. They stayed and had dinner with us. Son don´t know if you remember Dennis and Mary. Mary used to work at the beauty shop were I went in Vancouver. Anyway he was wearing one of your bracelets that we had made up. They belong to the beach barons and when we pulled onto the field today he showed us the bracelet and said Torrie is here with us this weekend. We thought that was awful nice that he was thinking of you being at the show! Dad Michael and I wore your tee shirt in remembrance of you. Well son just wanted to update you on the Rod Run! Dear Torrie!
Well son it was 9 years 8 months ago tonight that you were taken from us and became an angel in heaven and a bright shining star in the sky!
Today is the start of Rod Run 40th anniversary! Dad Michael and I went and got our place all marked off and picked up our packets. Dad got 57 running so we were be taking it to the field! Sure sounds good! Jeff is down so he will be going with us. Dave and Mary are coming over after the show for the pot luck. Bussie Robert and Mason are down also.
Dad and I went to eagles car show last weekend and dad won a trophy with the Plymouth! I will send picture of your dad and our friends Terry who also got a trophy!
We had a water leak while we were on vacation. It damaged the utility room kitchen and our bathroom floor but the floor in our closet. They came last week and dried it out for 5 days. The fans and heaters ran 24 seven. They are coming on the 16th to repipe the whole house then they will come back and replace the flooring! It is a mess!
Well son we will be wearing our brackets and shirts this weekend so you will be with! Sure wish you could be here in person.
Your sister Jason and Justin have been salmon fishing and had done real well. Will enclose a picture of one that your sister caught!

Good evening Torrie! Well son it was 9 years 7 months yesterday that you became that bright star in the sky and an angel in heaven. Sorry I didn´t write to you yesterday but dad and I have been pretty busy.
We got grandpa Bliss moved into his new AFH yesterday. It is a very nice home with 5 other residents in Cascade Park! Hopefully he will adjust to it without any problems. We picked him up yesterday from the care center and took him out to Taco Bell for lunch. Think he thought he was going home with us.
We got home and found out we have a water leak but we can´t find it. It has the flooring underneath the dryer all raised up. Hopefully Taft plumbing will call us tomorrow and come check it out. Think it is under the house and don´t want your dad going under there.
Issac and his crew were here yesterday and trimmed the ferns and maple tree by gazebo plus trimmed trees on south side of fence!
Jeff is supposed to come down this weekend as his mom is supposed to be down here. Said he would mainly sleeping here.
Your sister Heather, Jason and nephew Justin are going to Longbeach California tomorrow for baseball tournament for 5 days!

Dear Torrie! Mom is so sorry that I haven´t written to you since your birthday!
We made it home from Missouri on 7th of July. On our way home we got a call saying grandpa Bliss had fallen and was in the hospital! He ended up with pneumonia and fx ribs. Plus he was very confused and combative. He was in the hospital until the 16th. So dad and I have been going between home and Hood River! He was discharged last Tuesday the 16th to Prestige Care and Rehab in Camas! He is doing okay physically but his memory and cognitive skills are failing! They tested him and he only score 4 out of 30. So he will need to go to a AFH. His discharge date is the 2nd of August. So dad and I will be spending next week in Vancouver looking for a place for him!
Mom had a birthday on the 17th of July! Turned 76! Didn´t do anything. Dad didn´t remember but that didn´t surprise me! Lol! When we were in Missouri our cousins had cheesecake and banana cream pie for my birthday!
We had a good time with the cousins but it wasn´t long enough! On way home we stopped at antelope island outside of Ogden Utah. We saw over 700 bisons. There were alot of new born ones!
Jon the guy who has been helping dad with wiring on 57. They got almost all of the wiring done. He got windshield wiper motor in. He is coming back in the morning! Nice that he is helping dad. Jeff came down last weekend and helped dad put a new master cylinder and brake cylinders on my 55. They tried to put a new thermostat in dad´s 55 but couldn´t get the drain plug out. So they will have to do that before rod run.
Mike and Vonnie are moving to Texas! They are heading out on the 30th. Hate to see them go. Hopefully they will like living there. Guess time will tell! Said he will be back for the rod run so doesn´t want us to give his room to anyone!
Your nephew Justin has been to California and Arizona for baseball tournaments. Out of the 3 tournaments they have 2 first place. He is going back to California the 8-13th of August! Tristin has just been hanging out with his friends.
Dave and Mary were here this morning to visit. They came down yesterday. Not sure when they are going home. Was nice to see them!

Dad and I have been in Missouri since the 13th of June. We are heading home on the 5th with Deb and Ed. Dad and I flew back! We hope to be home on July 8th grandpa Christie´s birthday!
Dad and I went to Wamego KS today with Debra to tour the Wizard of Oz museum. It was fun! You would have liked it. We´ll send you some pictures of it. They have different statues of Toto all around the town!
Tomorrow we are going to Jamesport to look around the antique shops with the Missouri cousins and Aunt Ronda! Yesterday we were in Maryville and had lunch with the cousins and then went to Joyce´s 80th birthday party. Before we went to party we stopped at antique shop and we bought a really nice steel pedal car for $80.00! Dad´s going to hang it up in shop with the other two. Last Thursday we went and visited Paul and Vickie Comeau here in Richmond Missouri. Told dad they might come out to our house when they are out in the area and do the pinstripping on the 57 and paint the flaming skull on the air scoop.

Good evening son! Well another month has gone! It was 9 years and 5 months ago tonight that we lost you! You became that bright shining star in the sky and an angel in heaven!
I mowed Doug and Cindy´s lawn today. I met a guy at Jacks about a month ago who said he would be interested in helping dad with the wiring of the 57. He owned a restoration company in Seattle but recently sold it and moved down to Surfside. So he was finally able to come over today. Him and dad got alot of the new wiring ran. He´s a very nice guy. His name is Jon.
We went up and picked grandpa Bliss on Tuesday. Probably will take him home on Saturday after Sofia´s graduation party at your sisters house. Your nephews turned 18 on the 28th of May. Your sister had a surprise party for them. They each had about 10-12 people who came. They all had a good time. Then after their party Tristin and I took Heather and Jason to airport at 3am as they went to Cancun Mexico. Some of their friends got married. They got home Monday night late.
They are getting ready to go to California on the 16th for Justin´s baseball tournament.
Dad and I are thinking about flying to Missouri next week. It´s hard as we have to board Wilson for the time we´re gone plus don´t really have anyone to watch our place and mow the lawn. I´m sure Lori would do it but haven´t asked her yet. If we do go we will drive back with Deb and Ed! I know son if you were still alive dad and I could count on you to watch the dog and take care of our place!
Michael and Vonnie are planning on moving to Cleveland Texas. Have their house on the market and have one already down that they pending.
It was a beautiful sunny day here today except windy. I would rather have the wind instead of rain.

Dear Torrie! It was 9 years 4 months ago last night that I heard your voice for the last time! I wasn´t ready for it but I´m so happy we each got to say we loved each other. Just wish heaven had a phone so I could call you! Sorry I didn´t write to you yesterday but we went to Castle Rock yesterday for your nephew Justin´s district baseball game. He did an awesome job of hitting. He hit a triple,double, single. They won 11-1. You would be so proud of your nephew´s. Tristin is working on his drama production of Clue. He will be performing in it on May 16-18. Just wish you could be here to see and watch them grow and succeed in what they enjoy doing! We are heading back up to Castle Rock this afternoon for another baseball game this afternoon.
Dad just got through planting some flowers in the planter on the shed. Going to try and get grass mowed before we leave. I´m trying to get some laundry done.
Aunt Ronda is coming back from Norway today. Not sure what time she is getting in. Deb and Ed are heading to Missouri on the 14th. Think they are going to be gone 3 weeks. Haven´t talked to Aunt Shirley since Kim´s celebration of life. Haven´t seen your brother Chad in about two weeks even though he lives in the trailer in the alley! Texted with Sean week ago. He´s thinking about going to Mexico. Not sure when.
Dad and I have to go to Vancouver tomorrow as dad has dental appointment to get his new implants. Not sure if we will stay the night at your sisters as we both have appointments on Thursday. Then Saturday we are going to Pastor Ruths memorial. Hope you have had a chance to reunite with her in heaven. She was such a wonderful person!

Dear Torrie and Kim!
Last Sunday we went to Kim´s celebration of life. It was a very low keyed celebration. Kim your children did a wonderful job remembering their mother. Robert put a slide show together and Cari and Josh fixed pulled pork sandwiches, Kahlúa pork rice, potato salad, mac salad and pea salad! It was all so good! Kim´s sisters and brother along with her grandkids and nieces and nephews. Mark the minister that married's you two was there and spoke. Aunt Shirley, Uncle Leon, your sister Heather and dad and I were there too! Overall it was a wonderful celebration of your life Kim! I have enclosed some pictures I took of your celebration!
Dad and I have had a busy week. After Kim´s celebration we went back to Heathers house. We spent the night and then on Monday we went and picked up grandpa and brought him home with us!
Then Wednesday we drove up Castle Rock for your nephew´s doubleheader baseball game which they won both. Then Friday we went to Vancouver and I got my hair done then we went to top burger for lunch and then took grandpa back to Stevenson. After dropping him we headed back. We stopped at Heathers for few minutes then we headed back home. Got home about 9:30. It rained the whole way and all night. In fact it is supposed to rain the next four days. Dad and I will be so glad when the sunshine comes out and stay out!
Tomorrow is loyalty day parade in Longbeach. We probably won´t go if it is raining. Supposed to go back to Castle Rock on Monday for Justin´s district baseball game but it will probably be cancelled due to rain!
Dad is out in shop working on 57. Have a guy coming this week to see if he can help dad with the wiring. It´s coming together slowly.

Good evening Torrie!
Want to wish you and Kim a Happy Easter! Hope you and grandma and grandpa had a wonderful day with friends and relatives in heaven!
We had a wonderful day! Heather Jason and Tristin, Aunt Shirley Uncle Leon, Deb and Ed, Randy Amber Harrison and Harrison girlfriend and Chad and Aunt Ronda all were here. Justin and Sofia weren´t here as they were in Seattle for a Mariners game and Mattea had to go back to college!
Sean came down yesterday and picked up dad´s car trailer as dad sold it to him. Wanted him to stay but he wouldn´t.
Your mom fixed a ham, scalloped potatoes, homemade mac and cheese, ribs, frog eye salad and garden salad. Amber brought a veggie tray and your sister made a carrot cake, fruit tray and Hawaiian rolls. Aunt Ronda brought a banana cream pie and chocolate cream pie. We had plenty to eat and it was good. I also had a basket full of candy for you and Pepsi on the back porch. We missed you guys. I especially missed getting your beautiful card you always gave dad and I!
Dad and I celebrated our 53 wedding anniversary this month! Doesn´t seem like we have been married 53 years! Dad turned 79 this month also. We went to drop anchor restaurant. Deb and Ed, Aunt Shirley Uncle Leon were there then we all came back to the house for pie and ice cream!
Dad got the storm doors up on back porch! Sure is nice. Wind and rain don´t come in!

Dear Torrie! Want to apologize for not sending you and Kim a message on Valentines Day! Hope you both had a good day. Dad and I didn´t do anything special. We went to Macdonalds for lunch.
Well son it was 9 years 2 months ago tonight that you went to heaven. Still hard to believe. We miss you so much. There are so many times when I just wish I could pick up the phone and talk with you or ask you to come over and help us.
Dad and I went over to Bob and Judy´s house tonight for Bob´s birthday! Regan is home from St Louis and we saw her at Dennis and company last Saturday and she invited us! It was just us and two other people. We had a good visit. Bobs Parkinson´s is taking a toll on his life. It is so sad.
Dad mowed out front today and cleaned off driveway. Hoping to get backyard mowed tomorrow if it doesn´t rain. We have had a lot of rain this year. Last week we had hail and snow. Didn´t last long but it was cold. Aunt Shirley got over a foot of snow! Deb and Ed also had snow as well as your sis. Sean also said they had snow also.
We went to Tristin´s lip sync production! His group took peoples choice. Oh Torrie I wish you and Kim could have been there to see it. He is so good! Justin started school baseball. They have jamboree this coming Saturday in Ridgefield. Hoping the weather is good!
Dad´s been working on the 57! Says it´s giving him fits. Said it is much different than the 55s. Many times he is asking you to help him out loud! Have ordered a new wiring harness for it which should be here tomorrow. Has been putting the window wicker´s on window frames. Got the trunk almost done.
Dad put two new storm doors on the back porch. It sure is nice as it keeps rain and wind out.

Good evening son! Well it was 9 years and 1 month ago tonight that you left us and became a new shining star in the sky and an angel in heaven. It still seems like a bad dream. We continue to miss you more than words can express. We think and talk about you daily.
We are spending night at your sisters tonight. We had grandpa Bliss at the house for a week. Took him to hearing aid appointment in Vancouver this morning, then we drove to Hood River for his eye appointment and then drove up to The Dalles so he could visit with Helen! She was excited to see us. After that we took him back to Rock Cove . We decorated his room for valentines day. Then we headed back to your sisters after stopping and picking up chicken for dinner!
Dad has been framing in the back porch getting ready to install strom doors on the north and south ends. The wind and rain blows in and gets back porch wet. It´s really going to be nice once he gets them up.
He also has been working on 57. He got the trunk sprayed and old spare tire wheel well out and new one painted and ready to put in. We are going to Ralph´s tomorrow to check on rubber mat for trunk and cardboard piece that hides the back seat springs. It´s coming together just wish you were here to help your dad and enjoy it.

Dearest Torrie !
Well son it was 9 years ago tonight that you became an angel in heaven and a bright shining star in the sky! It has been a sad day for dad and I. We miss you so much. We were going to light off a lantern tonight but it is too stormy. The pictures that I have sent are pictures that we look at when I need to visit with you. We have them on google hub so we see them everyday.
Amber and Michael sent us a message saying they were thinking of you and us. They miss you as much as we do. Your sister really misses you Torrie. She has been sick this week with a cold. Justin was sick the last two weeks.
Your cousin Bonnie and Tony´s house caught fire day before Christmas Eve. I talked to her yesterday and they probably will have to demolish the house. Said they would know more next week. Thank the Lord they weren´t hurt.
Dad and I went to Drop Anchor for dinner tonight. Food was good but cost $55.00 for the two of us. Don´t understand why it has to cost so much. That is why we don´t eat out very often . Just ordered our groceries from Fred Meyers in Warrenton for the tune of $350.00. We will go pick them up tomorrow. They are predicting we might have snow
next Thursday so told dad we needed to get some groceries.
Have to go to Vancouver on Tuesday as dad has dermatologist appointment and I have a hair appointment. We will stay night at your sisters then on Wednesday have to go pick grandpa Bliss up and take him to hearing doctor then back to Stevenson and then we will head back home.
Jason and Justin are going to Arizona on Thursday for baseball tournament. Heather and Tristin are staying home. Tristin didn´t want to miss his drama class as they are doing a Lip Sync in February.

Happy New Year! Yes another year has passed and a new year is here!
Hope you guys had a wonderful blessed day. Dad and I stayed home. Dad took down the outdoor Christmas decorations since it wasn´t raining. If I would have had my way I would leave lights up all year long.
After dad got decorations down he watched Yellowstone. They were running them all weekend. He stayed up last night until midnight! I was surprised. Lol!

Hope you had a wonderful blessed day with family and friends making new memories. We came up to your sisters to spend the day with them. We went up and picked grandpa Bliss up to spend Christmas with us.
We are spending the night and then going to Randy and Amber´s tomorrow for gift exchange. Mattea is home from college. Will be glad to see them!
Last Friday we went to cousin Deb´s house for lasagna. Aunt Shirley and uncle Leon were there also. Had a nice visit.
Your brother Sean paid us a surprise visit on Saturday. They got some elk so he came down and ground up some hamburgers for us and then stayed the night. Was nice to see him. He´s still working at crane shop in Carson. Chad came in and visited which was nice as we haven´t seen him for awhile!
Grandpa has a hearing aid appointment on Wednesday so we will take him home after. Will spend night at Heathers as I have hair appointment on Thursday then we will go home!
It has been a cold rainy day here. No snow just rain.

Good evening son!
Well another month has gone by! It was 8 years 11 months ago tonight that the sky got a new bright shining star and heaven got a new angel! An angel who watch´s over us everyday and night!
We continue to think about talk about you everyday! You are never forgotten always in our hearts!
It has been a busy month. Dad and I have been putting up some Christmas decorations. We don´t do it as good as you did. Dad said you have been telling him to get it done for me! Have got most of my shopping done. Got to get my cards ready to mail.
Went to Longview yesterday for Kris Saters dad´s funeral and tomorrow after dad´s dentist appointment we are driving to Vancouver. I have hair appointment and then we are to Matt´s funeral. We are going to spend the night and then go up and pick grandpa Bliss and bring him home with us.
Weather has been awful! Been raining and blowing like crazy. Lots of flooding.

Dear Torrie,
Sorry mom hasn´t written to you earlier this month. It has been 8 years and 10 months since you were taken from us. Still hard to believe. You don´t know much you are missed. We think and talk about you everyday!
Haven´t written to you sooner because I´ve been under the weather. November 3 I had to be life flighted from Ilwaco hospital to Portland Providence as my heart rate dropped into the 20. I have to wear a heart monitor for 2 weeks to see if it shows why my heart rate is so low. Feel better but still real tired!
Want to wish you and Kim a Happy turkey Day! Yes today is thanksgiving! Hope you guys had a wonderful blessed day. I´m sure grandma and Aunt Katie made you guys a Thanksgiving feast. We came up to your sisters. Had a nice dinner. Had ham turkey twice baked mashed potatoes brussel sprouts frog eye salad deviled eggs veggie tray and mixed fruit. Then there was pumpkin pie and pecan pie for dessert.
Hope you were at the pearly gates when Jason´s brother Matt entered. He passed away on November 2. His funeral service is December 7.
We are staying at Heathers until Sunday. I have hair appointment tomorrow morning and then we are meeting Teddy at Shari´s. It will be nice to see him as it has been awhile. Then Saturday dad and I along with Heathers family are meeting Randy and Amber´s family to go to Centralia to make glass Christmas ornaments. Then we might drive up and get grandpa before we go home on Sunday.
Dad wants to try and get some Christmas lights put on the house this next week. Sure do wish you were here to put up the decorations. I sure do miss the way that you decorated the yard.

Happy Halloween! Yes today is Halloween! You would have had your house all decorated. The pictures are of some of the decorations dad and I put up! Haven´t had any trick or treaters. We never get any!
Dad worked out in yard today. I did some laundry. I have been sick since Friday. Went to urgent care yesterday and said I had the cold that was going around. Gave me some steroids and cough syrup. Dads going tomorrow to get his Covid vaccine. I will have to get mine next week. Grandpa is back in quarantine because seven residents have tested positive for Covid. He´s isn´t happy that he has to stay in room!
Jason got a 4 point buck. Took it in today to get it processed! Justin went today but didn´t get anything. Tristin has been working on the drama production in couple weeks!

Good evening son. Well don´t know where the month has gone. It´s been 8years 9 months that heaven got a new angel and the sky got a bright new shining star!
It has been a busy month. Rod Run 39 has come and gone. Took all 3 cars. Didn´t get 57 ready but it will be there next year with bells on it. My 55 took an award. We chose a yellow 57 Chevy for your award. The owners were from Rainier Wa. Very nice couple. I will send you some pictures of it. Michael was down for a week. Jeff and his son Michael and his wife and daughter were here along with Bailee´s daughter! The weather was nice without any rain! Dave and Mary came over Saturday after we got home. I had made a pot of chili along with hotdogs, frog eye salad, deviled eggs and a veggie tray. Made brownies for dessert.
Dad has been working on 57. We got everything back from the powdercoating except for bumper bolts. Son it is really going to look marvelous! You would be proud to drive it!
Last Sunday we celebrated grandpa Bliss 95 birthday! Cousin Bonnie and Aunt Ronda were here from Missouri and Kansas. We had a get together at Round Table Pizza! Aunt Ronda, Teddy, Deb and Ed, Aunt Shirley and Uncle Leon, your sister Heather, Jason and Justin, Tristin had plans with some kids from school, your brother Sean and his friend Gunner, Laken, Tinleigh, and her girlfriend, Dave and Mary, Mike and Vonnie, Amber, Randy and Harrison. Mattea was at college. Cousin Rebecca! Had a good visit!
We had grandpa down at our house for four days. To ok him home after dads eye appointment on Tuesday. Then we spent the night at your sisters and then on Wednesday your dad had his elbow bursa removed. We stayed again at Heathers Wednesday night and came home yesterday! It was a beautiful sunny blue sky day here! Was 85 degrees. It is almost 8 pm and we still have windows and doors open!
Kenny and Lori went to Costco today and picked up a freezer for us. We are going to get a quarter of beef from Heathers neighbor in a couple weeks and Costco had them for a good price.
We are going to Lincoln City next week with cousin Deb and Ed for Ed´s birthday!

Dear Torrie! Well son another month has come making it 8 years and 8 months that you were taken from us. Can´t believe it has been that long! We miss you every single day! We think and talk about you every day!
Dad has been putting the 57 back together. We picked up some of the stuff that we had powdercoated and dropped some more stuff off. I ordered a new wiring harness, trunk lid insulation and stainless that goes around front and back windows. Ordered the v for the trunk from Ralph´s but haven´t picked it up. They have a friend of Ralph´s and his daughters father in law running it but only open 2days a week right now.
This weekend is Rod Run. We won´t be taking the 57 but will take the other three. Michael is coming down tomorrow. We were going to go up and pick grandpa Bliss but he has Covid. There have been several residents that have came down with it. Haven´t heard if Jeff is coming down.
Dad and Kenny got the house painted last weekend. It sure looks nice. I took my 55 down to the Eagles on Saturday for their car show. There was about 50 cars. I will send you some pictures!
