TERI LIN (MORGAN) DANIS
March 18, 1952 ˜ January 13, 2021
Teri Lin (Morgan) Danis, passed away Jan. 13, 2021, from neuro-endocrine cancer. She was 68. Teri was born March 18, 1952, in Ogden, UT, to Rex and Ann Morgan. She grew up in Susanville, CA, and graduated from Lassen High School in 1970.
Teri earned an associate in applied science degree from Clark College in nursing. She worked in the critical care unit at PeaceHealth Southwest, and as a nurse administering treadmill tests for the cardiac unit at The Vancouver Clinic before retiring in 2014.
A loving, kind and compassionate woman, Teri had the most beautiful laugh. She loved nature, was passionate about tending her garden and was an avid bird watcher. She practiced conservation, believing it is critical to take care of our planet. She also took great pleasure in traveling, reading, riding her bicycle and hiking with her husband Rick and two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Ann Morgan.
Teri is survived by her loving husband, Rick; daughters, Kristen Harral and Katie Pope; grandson, Liam Harral; and brother, David Morgan.

Teri and I were roommates in the mid seventies at nursing school. She was the smartest student in the class. I don't know how I would have gotten through some of those science courses without her. Mostly we had fun, oh so much fun! We both loved to dance and spent a lot of weekend nights at "Sack's Front Avenue" in Portland. We graduated, went separate ways but still got together. I saw her get married, I moved out of the country of a year, but my husband and I went to see her with her then husband and newborn baby girl. I wish I had time to get to know her marvelous husband, who Teri adored and referred to as "One of the good ones", and had a chance to know her beautiful daughters and grandson, and to share some of our crazy times together.

I worked with Teri at Vancouver Clinic. I have fond memories of going on long walks with her at lunch time talking about life. I will truly miss that beautiful smile. I will see you again one day my beautiful friend.
