PATRICIA A. JORY (FREWING)
May 24, 1931 ˜ December 31, 2025
Patricia A. Jory (Frewing) passed away at age 94 on December 31, 2025, in Yakima, Washington. She was born May 24, 1931, in Woodland, Washington, to Albert F. Frewing and Goldie A. Stevenson. As a graduate of Ridgefield High School in 1949, Patricia attended the Ridgefield Golden Grads Alumni Association event for the past 25 years.
Patricia devoted her life’s career to nursing. As a Registered Nurse, she served as President of the Idaho Nursing Association, earned a master’s degree from the University of Nevada, taught CNA courses at UNLV, and participated in the Traveling Nurse Program for several years.
Patricia is survived by her daughters, Valerie L. Trechter (Kevin) and Rebecca S. Fortner (John); grandchildren, Sandy N. Christy, Michelle McClouth (Shawn), and Jeffrey Fortner (Jennifer); and great-granddaughter, Brianna Christy. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Dale Jory.
A private celebration of life was held by her family. Patricia’s final resting place is Ridgefield Cemetery, near her cherished family home in Ridgefield, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
