MARY LOU TRIBE
February 7, 1933 ˜ January 18, 2026

Mary Lou Tribe, age 92, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, in Vancouver, Washington.

Mary Lou lived a long life marked by resilience, strength, and devotion to her family. She was a lifelong resident of Clark County and always considered Hockinson to be her home. Throughout her life she had a variety of careers, beginning as a telephone operator while she was in her teens, then spending several years as a cook in the elementary school cafeteria, and retiring as a crew trainer at a local department store. By far, her favorite job was the 42 years she devoted to working at the Clark County Fair. In her later years, Mary Lou spent much of her time researching her family history and reconnecting with relatives.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Earl Tribe, and her granddaughter, Erin Tribe Kilborn. She is survived by her three children, Dave, Patty, and Peggy, as well as seven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at Elim Lutheran Church in Hockinson at 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, 2026.
