Norma Eldridge Obituary

A lifelong Oregonian, Norma Ritchie Eldridge moved to Vancouver, WA in 2002 to be near family. She met and married Fred Eldridge and they enjoyed over four years together before her death on Nov. 2, 2007. She was 90 years old. Norma operated Norma's Ceramics in Salem, OR for nearly 40 years. A gifted artist, she taught classes in ceramics, stoneware, porcelain, lace-draped dolls, and china painting. She was passionate about sewing and knitting as well as all kinds of other drafts. She attended Calvary Chapel in North Salem. Norma was preceded in death by her first husband, Arthur Ritchie and several siblings. She is survived by her husband, Fred Eldridge; her sons and their families, Doug and Anne Ritchie and children, Stephanie Kennedy Clark Ritchie, Bill and Betty Ritchie and children, Jason Ritchie, Geoff Ritchie and Lisa Bowden; seven great-grandchildren and step-children, Joanne Eldridge, Judy Wilkinson and Brian Eldridge; two brothers, Paul and Don Andrews and numerous nieces and nephews. A family service will be held at 10am, Thursday, Nov. 8, at Restlawn Funeral Home, Salem, OR.
