MARSHALL EDWARD TAPANI
March 3, 1996 ˜ October 15, 2022
Marshall Edward Tapani was called to his heavenly home Oct. 15, 2022, at the age of 26. Marshall was born March 3, 1996, in Portland, OR to Leigh and Laura Tapani.
He lived most of his life in Battle Ground, WA, where he graduated from Battle Ground High School in 2014. Marshall moved to Pasco, WA, in 2018 where he remained for the rest of his life.
Marshall loved spending time with his parents and brothers, family and close friends. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing and helping others. His gentle nature, his smile and ability to make people laugh will be greatly missed.
Marshall is survived by his parents, Leigh and Laura Tapani; three brothers, Colton, Cody and Oliver Tapani, all of Battle Ground, WA; grandparents, Edward (Iner) and Beverly Tapani of Battle Ground, WA, and Elizabeth Kangas of Battle Ground, WA. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Marshall was preceded in death by his grandfather, Kenneth Kangas; uncle, Greg Kangas; and two aunts, Jill Massie and Lori Kangas.
Marshall was a member of the Old Apostolic Lutheran Church and cherished his faith, family, friends and coworkers.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
Visitation/viewing service will be on Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The casket will be open one hour prior to the funeral service. Burial will immediately follow at the church cemetery.

Leigh and Laura and all his family lost a great soul, I taught hunter ed to Marshal in my home just up the street from him, always had something funny to say, I enjoyed having him in our neighborhood. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
