JENNIFER FRANZA
March 23, 1952 ~ July 12, 2016
Jennifer Franza, 64, died July 12, 2016 with her family by her side in Wenatchee, Washington. She was born March 23rd, 1952, in Vancouver, Washington to Fred and Shirley Doane. Jennifer lived in the Vancouver area until she attended and graduated from Western Washington University. It was at Western where she met and married her husband Mike Franza. After graduation, they eventually settled in the Wenatchee valley where they have lived ever since.
As a homemaker, Jennifer dedicated her life to her husband and to raising her two daughters. While her husband worked as a principal in the Wenatchee and Leavenworth school districts, Jennifer served as an advice column and sounding board for the many who graced her always-open front door.
Her warm and inviting demeanor,
paired with her genuine love for people,
put every soul at ease. Her table was always set with cookies, bean dip, and good conversation.
Jennifer's Godly wisdom has left a legacy
that continues to reach far beyond her kitchen table.
Jennifer developed lasting friendships in Wenatchee and throughout the upper valley. She was an active member of the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church and enjoyed her weekly coffee club.
Jennifer Franza is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Mike Franza; her two brothers and their spouses, Warren and Rosie Doane, and Curt and Caroline Doane; her daughter, Megan Carlson and husband, Jeff; her daughter, Becky Binger and husband, Aaron; and her five grandsons: Mac, Jack, Ryder, Coen, and Griffin.
The family would like to invite you to celebrate the life of Jennifer Franza on Thursday, July 21st at 2p.m., at the Wenatchee Free Methodist Church. Dress casual and comfortable in honor of Jennifer.
Arrangements are by Jones & Jones - Betts Funeral Home.

Mike, Roy Grady - I know how you feel as I lost my wife in 2008 from COPD. I also lost my daughter last June. She left a daughter who just graduated from high school, a son who was 9th grader and a 8 yr old. My heart still aches for her. May the Lord give you and the kids his comfort.

Mike and girls, so very sorry to read of Jennifer's passing. Paula and I enjoyed hanging with your family at softball and the river! Jennifer was truly a special lady, always upbeat and fun to be around. We hadn't seen her for some time but will always cherish our memories of her and your family.

Thinking of your family. Jennifer always had such an upbeat and positive attitude. I remember coming up to your house on Titus just after I was hired and meeting your family and other new staff members. Jennifer was the usual great hostess! Prayers for you all.
