James K. Beckstead Jr.

James Beckstead Obituary

Nov. 9, 1949 ~ May 25, 2008- James K. Beckstead, Jr. of Vancouver, WA, passed away on May 25, 2008 at the age of 58. He was born in Seattle, WA on Nov. 9, 1949 to James K. Beckstead, Sr. and Mary Louise (Hunter) Beckstead. Jimmy served in the Army in the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver, recently at American Freight Systems. "Family and friends will miss Jimmy, he was loved by all." Jimmy is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice; godson, Alex Harper; step-mother, Olga Beckstead; and four sisters. Memorial services will be later at Willamette National Cemetery. Donations are gladly accepted in behalf of Jimmy at US Bank, 7003 NE 40th St., Vancouver, WA 98661.
