LORD GENE PAXTON BARON
January 17, 1962 ˜ November 11, 2022

Lord Gene Paxton Baron of Sealand was born Jan. 17, 1962, in San Jose, CA, and died Nov. 11, 2022, in Vancouver, WA.
Gene was born to Charles Emmitt and Hilda Fernandez Paxton. He was the middle of three children.
Graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1980 in San Jose, CA. He went to Evergreen Valley College and graduated in 1983 with an AA in liberal arts.
He became a reenactor in 1980 and went on to reenact in the Civil War, World War I, World War II, gunfighters and other reenactor groups.
He was involved with many science fiction and fantasy conventions when they were just beginning. He is known through the Doctor Who conventions, Time Con, Bay Con, Orycon, and many other conventions.
He moved to Vancouver, WA, in 2006. Worked at Wafertech for 15 years. He retired in January of 2022.
His parents Charles and Hilda preceded him in death.
He survived by his brother Charles Fernandez Paxton and his family; and his sister Pearl-Contessa Fernandez Timmerman and her family; and many relatives and friends.
There will be a celebration of life at the Mill Plain United Methodist Church, 15804 SE Mill Plain Blvd, Vancouver, WA 98684 on Jan. 17, 2022 at 12:00 noon.
