I really didn´t know him on a personal level but I remember how nice of a man Gene was! Smiling as much as he could despite signs of being fatigued and tired. Gene you were a good man lost too soon. I hope your pain is gone and your mind is free as you enter heaven and your next adventure!

Gene! I´m sorry death got you too early. You were sweetest, silliest man ever. You had the biggest heart. I will never forget the times I had with you. Thanks for being a friend and hanging out with me on my bdays in Salem/Portland area! McMenamin´s will always make me think of you...

I am so sorry for the loss of Gene. He was always a jovial man and a caring person. Although I have not seen him in many years due to distance, I have always thought of him fondly. I hope he gets some beer cheese soup in heaven!
