Gary Lape Obituary
GARY L. LAPE
Gary L. Lape, 74, died Aug. 8, 2021 at home. His wife of 50 years, Patti Lape and two sons, Gary Jr. (Sara) and Jack (Denise); stepsons, Charles Gravelle and Robert Gravelle. He is preceded in death by siblings, Connie Brebner, Jim, Terry, Herman Lape; and stepbrother, Randy Lape. His step-family is Becky, Ronda, Bob, and Ray Lape from Sioux Falls, SD, and Shelly from Coronado, CA. Gary was a millwright at James River where he retired. He belonged to Grace Foursquare Mens’ Bible study where he also ushered. He loved old cars and had a few in his years. He belonged to North County Cruisers. He coached Babe Ruth and Little League. He liked to travel and was close to family.
His funeral will be held Aug. 17, 2021, at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR at 9:30 a.m.
