Frieda Stevens Obituary
October 1, 1922 ~ March 28, 2010
Frieda C. Stevens, 87, died in Camas, WA on Sun., March 28th. She was born in Indiana but had lived in this area since 1945.
She took in many, many foster children over the years
and was always happy and cheerful.
Frieda is survived by a son, Donald; and a daughter, Denise; brothers, Erwin, Martin and Hugo Hein; sisters, Emma Naffin, Hilda Hagen and Mildred Kuschel; as well as several grandchildren.
A private family graveside will be held on Thurs., April 1st and a Life Celebration will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Washougal, WA where she was a member. Visitation will be at Straub's Funeral Home in Camas, Wed., 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
The family suggests donations in Frieda's memory be made to the Lutheran Hour, c/o St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Washougal.
