Floyd White Obituary

FLOYD DONNELL WHITE Floyd was born December 29, 1936 and raised in the Fruit Valley area of Vancouver, WA. He passed away on Sat., March 12, 2005 at age 67. Floyd graduated from Vancouver High School, then joined the Navy. While enlisted, he married Celeste (Tessie) Boyer. Together they raised four children, Rhonda Williams, Jeff White, Lori West and Lisa Lang. Floyd was a plumber by trade. He loved to be with his family, enjoyed car racing, hunting, fishing and gardening. (Oh what a harvest he would reap). He loved to say, ³Joppy Loppy, are we at the beach yet?² He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, one brother and a grandchild. Survivors include his wife and his children, 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two brothers, five sisters and numerous family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at New Life Friends Church at 2410 Grand Blvd., Vancouver, WA at 12:30 PM with burial following at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR.
