EUNICE CARTER CHASE
March 2, 1922 ~ July 3, 2012
"Eunice was a loving and caring person
to everyone she met."
Eunice went to be with her Lord on July 3, 2012.
Eunice was born in Ottertail County, MN. She met Richard Chase in Deer Creek, MN. They married May 5, 1942. They enjoyed their lives together for 61 years before Richard passed away in 2003.
Eunice is survived by; daughter, Phyllis (Bud) Goldhammer and son, Arthur (Diane) Chase, both of Vancouver; siblings, Maryann Erckenbrack of Wadena, MN, Robert Carter, Joyce Wiess, and Dona Jean Keeney of Vancouver and Robert Danielson of Fargo, ND; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing is Sunday July 8, 2012, 12:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Rosary is at 6:00 p.m.
Funeral service is Monday, July 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at New Heights Church, 7913 NE 58th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98665. Internment is 2:00 p.m. at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Seton Catholic High School Football Program, 811 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684-5115.

We are so sorry for your loss, Phyllis and Art. Didn't hear about her passing until I read it a few minutes ago and her funeral is already over. She was such a special lady. Our beautiful memories of her go back over 40 years. We'll rejoice when we join her again in heaven some day.

My parents, Jim and Jean Corbett, were great friends of Dick and Eunice. Now they are all together again. There was a great celebration when Eunice entered the gates of heaven.

We are so very sorry for your loss. My Mom (Jo Williams) and my Aunt (Betty Williams) were friends of your mother Eunice. I lost my Mom last year in May. Now they are all 3 back together again enjoying each others company and rejoicing in heaven. May our heavenly father bring you peace and comfort.
