Emma Lanier Obituary

Emma Lanier, born May 28, 1911 in Chanute, KS, passed away September 21, 2007 in Vancouver, WA. She has been a Vancouver resident since 1978, and is a retired Secretary-Receptionist for Yellowstone County Extension Office in Billings, MT. Emma was preceded in death by her husband, Ross R. Lanier, whom she married on Feb. 27, 1932. He passed away April 14, 1982. Survivors include her son, Verle Lanier (Tonie) of Potomac, Washington D.C.; daughter, Joyce Parsons (Bob) of Vancouver, WA; brother, C. Allen Johnson (Lucille) of Billings, MT; granddaughter, Lorraine Nelson of Vancouver, WA; and great-grandson, Matthew Bangs of Burnsville, MN. Funeral services and burial were held September 28, 2007 in Billings, MT.
