Ellen Hague Obituary

Ellen, you left many of us with such rich and happy childhood memories. You gave us 4 children who shared our childhood and whose friendship still fill our hearts with joy to this day. Your husband was simply a joy to know and it was always evident how rich and deep the love you shared together. You were everything a woman should be to your family, friends and also to our Father in Heaven. The world is diminished in your passing, but oh how the angels are rejoicing for your being with them. We will love your children here on earth, as you will love them from Heaven. And then we all will be together on that bright and glorious day we long for. To Ellen's children, you took her as far as you could and God gently took her the rest of the way. What a sweet, sweet circle of love you shared. God bless you all.

Thank you, God, for blessing us with my Aunt Ellen. Her love for the Lord, patience, joy and humor were always evident. She was a great example for us all. My heart is with all my family during this time. Wish I could be there. Love you all.

Bill & Ellen were like my second grandparents. I loved them dearly. Ellen was one of the sweetest women I knew.

Ellen was a dear, long-time friend. She certainly showed us, by example, how to endure many health issues due to age with seemingly endless grace. With each fracture, or CHF problem, she went to work to do whatever it took to recuperate. She was my hero.

A very precious, loving and patient lady was Ellen. So many of us rode the bus to CCHS during our school years. I do not know how she never lost her cool, but she didn't. She was a wonderful mother in law to me. She opened her arms to each and every one of my children. Even my son from a different marriage. I will miss you for now but will see you when it's my time. I love you Ellen. Please Lord bless Don, Gloria and Linda while they grieve your loss.

Many of my cherished memories are centered around family times at Aunt Ellen's home. She was generous, gentle, and supremely patient. She experienced life in all its triumphs and tragedies, yet never lost her faith or her sense of humor. Love you so much, and looking forward to our

She was dearly loved by so many who's lives she touched. Blessings and comfort to those who miss her. Until we meet our loved ones again may we remain strong in the Lord.

My memories of Ellen, or "Mrs. Hague" to me, are her wonderful kindness and dedication to all of us kids at Columbia Christian. To Linda, Gloria and all, I'm sorry for the loss of your wonderful mother.

Ellen's patience may have been her greatest strength as a Christian. She was a lovely example of the steadfast life in the Lord.

I am asking our Lord to comfort, strengthen and give peace to each one of you. Even as there is rejoicing for this loving lady to get to "go home", there is also such a sense of loss. Praying for you all.

Ellen was a very dear friend to the "Niva" family. We have had a lifetime friendship with The Hague family . Bill, Ellen an Tim are all missed, but they are now all together keeping their angel wings flying...peace to them an love to the remaining family left.

I have many good memories of Aunt Ellen who was always gentle voiced, seeming never to raise her voice; no matter how noisy we kids became -- those were good old days visiting the cousins. Janet & Rex Rhoten
