EDWARD FRANK MAHN
April 12, 1947 ˜ February 25, 2024

Edward Frank Mahn passed away at home Feb. 25, 2024, in Vancouver, WA, with his beloved bride of 55 years, Barbara, by his side.

Ed was born April 12, 1947, in Muskegon, MI, the middle of three brothers, Phil and Tommy, so adventure was always at hand. Fast Eddy had a love of diner food stemming from working in their family-owned diner and motel, near the shores of Lake Michigan.

Ed joined the Air Force after high school and was stationed in Havre, MT, where he met Barbara Arens-meyer, and soon they were married.

They lived in Helena, Missoula, Eugene, and Longview, before moving to Ketchikan, AK, to become CEO for PeaceHealth Hospital.

Ed had been to every state, enjoyed fishing, and LOVED the Detroit Lions! With a mind for math, he also enjoyed getting to know everyone, asking questions, and making friends wherever he went. He always had a kind word, a joke and a silly smile for his grandkids.

We know Ed is somewhere, low balling a deal over a glass of red wine with ice. He is survived by his wife; brother, Phil; son, Shane (Colette); daughter, Shannon Hendricks; and grandchildren, Ashleigh, Sloan and Mason; nephew, Tommy; and many other nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Cynthia and Phil; brother, Tommy; sister-in-law, Linda; and sisters, Phyllis, Joyce and Pat.
