Dean Coffield Obituary

DEAN ALLEN COFFIELD
October 23, 1953 ~ May 23, 2014

Dean, age 60 years, passed away May 23, 2014, at home surrounded by family, after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Vancouver, WA to Derrel and Leona Coffield. Dean graduated from Fort Vancouver High School in 1972. Dean worked with IUOE/ Local 701 as a Heavy Machine Mechanic/Welder for 30+ years until he retired for medical reasons. He loved music and would go to the Bing Lounge and listen to up and coming bands. He enjoyed life, family and had a contagious laugh. He also enjoyed the outdoors, bow hunting, fishing and playing pool. Dean is survived by his wife, Teresa, at home: daughters, Noydena Williams, Erica Coffield and Meghan Coffield; sons, Derek Coffield and Garrett (Hannah) Coffield; and he has 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by his parents, Derrel and Leona Coffield; sister, Leilani (Rob) Robinson; and a brother, Dale Coffield.
A service to celebrate his life will be Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. at Crossroads Community Church, 7708 NE 78th St., Vancouver, WA.
