Beverly Herring Obituary
BEVERLY MARGARET HERRING
September 30, 1947 ~ July 11, 2016
Beverly Margaret Herring, 68, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 11, 2016 in Vancouver, WA. She was born in Astoria, OR on Sept. 30, 1947.
Bev was an active member of the Girls Polytechnic Alumni Committee, belonged to the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, past president and active member of Clark County Quilters, involved in Project Linus, and was an integral part of the Needle Nuts small quilting group for the past 27 years.
She loved SOCIALIZING, trips to the Oregon Coast and Hawaii, quilt retreats, and spending time
with her grandchildren and many friends.
Bev is survived by her devoted husband, Larry Herring, of 50 years; her only sister, Diana Tatro (Mike) of Yuba City, CA, who she cherished deeply; her son, Dayne Herring of MO and her daughter, Amy Harris (Greg) of Tracy, CA; grandsons: Ryan Aronson (Jessica), Tanner Aronson, Kyle Brokaw, and Adam Harris; granddaughters: Sadie Aronson, Natalie Harris, and Peyton Brokaw-Herring; great-grandchildren: Addysen, Johsia, Kaya and Ashyr Aronson, Ireland and Presley Churchwell; and many nieces and nephews that she adored and gave her great strength in her final days.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Wilma Tucker of Wartburg, TN.
Please join us in celebrating BEV'S LIFE on Sat., July 23, 2016 at 1p.m., Vancouver Church of Christ, 9019 NE 86th St., Vancouver, WA, with a reception following.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Bev's favorite charities: Project Linus ([email protected]) or Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrfcure.org).

I will truly miss Bev's winning smile and inclusive positive attitude. I so appreciated her organization as president. She made my term so much easier.
I'll be praying for Larry and Diana as I won't be able to attend the service. May God give you strength and peace.

Diane& Bev's husband, children, grand & great grand children, nieces & nephew, I'm so sorry for your lose, but GOD, only loans us our loved ones, when he needs another, "SPECIAL ANGEL" he will choose only the best. Have not saw, Bev, in too many years, When, we were growing up, the family came to Petros every summer. This was the time that all families came home for reunion & we all gathered at Ma Tucker's, those were the good old days. Then, as children growing up, we married, had our families,then time flew by, but, we had lots of great memories, we had made together. I'm sorry that I never got the opportunity to know her family, but knowing Bev, I know she shared her love & got love thru all these years. My family & I, will keep you all, in our thoughts, heart & prayers for GOD to give you all peace, knowing that you all will be together one day & to carry you all in his LOVING ARMS, always. I will provide Diane with contact information for me & my family if you may need to ever use it. ALL MY FAMILY'S LOVE, MONA (TUCKER) & GARY PATRICK.
