BERTHA ELIZABETH (HEDLUND) LYNCH
June 7,1927 ~ July 2, 2012
Bertha Elizabeth (Hedlund) Lynch passed away in her home surrounded by family and friends on July 2, 2012. She was born to John and Olga Hedlund on June 7, 1927 and was 85 years old. She lived her entire life in Clark County where she loved the outdoor life on a farm and cooking big meals. Bertha loved to help others and getting friends together for birthday luncheons besides being a homemaker.
Bertha volunteered at the Woodland Information Center and was an active member at Highland Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by husband, John Lynch and sister, Ida Mae Lynch.
She is survived by two sons, Rick Lynch and Mike Lynch with wife Debbie; grandson Jonathan; one nephew Craig Lynch; all of Woodland, two step-granddaughters and four step great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. View Cemetery with luncheon following at Highland Lutheran Church. Donations can be made to Highland Lutheran Church Memorial Fund. Layne's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. God Bless you Mom.

What a beautiful person your Mother was, I am so sad to hear of her passing. She had such a warm giving way about her, and such a cute laugh.

Bertha was a great person. Remember some good times over the years. The time I had my car accident years ago and she came down and stayed with me during the day. That was the kind of neighbor she was. Please accept my sincere condolences. I will be at the service tomorrow.
