ADA ELIZABETH RINEHART TOWNSEND
December 2, 1945 ~ August 24, 2015
"She was full of love, life, laughter, and fun."
Ada Elizabeth Rinehart Townsend, 69, passed away peacefully in Clackamas, OR, after a short battle of rare lymphoma. She was born in Anchorage, AK.
Ada loved gardening, gold panning, and animals.
She was a loving and generous mother,
grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Ada is survived by her daughters, Charlene Tautfest (Troy), twins-Lyndsay and Tawny Townsend; son, Charles McAtee (Christine); grandchildren, Joseph Smith, Kevin Tautfest, William McAtee and Max McAtee; step-grandchildren, April Tautfest-Gourly, Amber Tautfest-Lansing, and Troy Tautfest Jr.; brother, Dan Rinehart; sisters, Nita Rinehart, Linda Brelin, and Bernadine Rinehart-Keaton; special friend, Kelly Kiesling; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Robert Townsend; father, "Buster" Jay Rinehart (Hazel); mother, Margie Rinehart; brother, Tommy Rinehart; and sister, Margie Hammett.
A viewing will be held Fri., Aug. 28, 9a.m.-12:30p.m. with a service at 1:00p.m. at Northwood Park Cemetery, Funeral Home, 16407 NE 15th Ave., Ridgefield, WA 98642.

So happy we got to re-connect as cousins last year! You were so easy to talk to, and, it was such fun hearing the stories of Alaska, and, also hearing more of your childhood as we never had a chance to ever visit each other. Loved staying in touch in Facebook. Aunt Jesn just loved it whenever you visited. You always have reminded me of her, you're both so beautiful and personable. I will miss you like so many will, but am so glad you are not hurting, and, are with the loved ones you have missed for so long. We will all meet again one day. Love to you, Ada

Praying for all the family, so sorry Linda, Nita, and Frank. Ada is with Margie, Bob, her mom and others now, and not suffering anymore. I wish Ada could have stayed longer on this Earth, she was such a pretty, loving person, just by seeing all the posts of Ada you tell. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I have so many good memories with grandma ada...our amazing trips throughout Alaska and our very interesting trip to Medford Oregon. She was always smiling and full of laughter. She loved family and had the most amazing heart. You are very missed.
