WILLIAM “BILL” CLYDE COBURN
February 12, 1939 ˜ September 22, 2021
Bill Coburn is now walking the Streets of Gold with his Jesus. He was born Feb. 12, 1939 in Bend, OR; and passed away Sept. 22, 2021 in Vancouver, WA, at the age of 82. After high school, Bill entered the Army and served for six years, his job in the infantry included hand to hand combat instructor. After discharge from the Army, Bill became a long haul trucker, and pursued this career for 40 years. Bill’s hobbies included fishing, woodworking, building birdhouses and crosses. He loved spending time with his family and friends as well.
After his retirement in 2004, Bill served his Jesus in ministry, becoming very involved with the AWANA program at Brush Prairie Baptist Church in Vancouver; serving many generations of third to sixth graders; and working in other ways within the AWANA program. His favorite Bible verse was John 3:16. He and Berta served in many other roles at Brush Prairie, always with the focus of leading others to know the Lord he loved so well.
You are invited to join us on Oct. 13, 2021 for his celebration of life service at 12 noon at Brush Prairie Baptist Church 11814 NE 117th Ave, Vancouver, WA.
