SUSAN MARY ANRYS GREENE
December 4, 1947 ˜ May 9, 2021
Susan Mary Anrys Greene was born in Vancouver, WA, Dec. 4, 1947, to Clarence and Patricia Anrys and passed away May 9, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother (Donald). Her husband, Skip, passed April 15, 2021.
Susan was a 1966 graduate of Woodland High School in Woodland, WA.
On April 17, 1970, Susan married John “Skip” Greene. They had two sons, Chris and Jason, who were the lights of their parents lives.
In 2003 Susan retired from PavelCom. She and Skip spent their retirement traveling, making two extensive trips to Europe and exploring both the southeast and southwest US. Susan also loved animals, reading, and immensely enjoyed her casino time and had many tales to tell of her experiences.
Susan was known for her love, strength, humility, compassion, humor, and selflessness. She always met people where they were at and never judged them. She was grace personified.
While there will be no service, you are encouraged to honor Susan by “paying it forward”. She was a giver and doing for others brought her incredible joy.
Lastly, she would want to offer her love to her bonus son, Gabe McCoy, and her bonus daughters, Jenni Hale, Ronni Herz and Wendy Godel.

Well Sue, you've been gone two years and it is still hard
to grasp. Please know I love you and miss you dearly. I
continue to do, what you would do for me if roles were reversed. Say hello to Skip and Patsy. Love you.

We still cannot believe they are gone. We spent a great deal of time with them, traveling, camping, Pepsi get togethers, Lunches, dinners. Lots of laughs, skip had a good sense of humor. Truly good friends. Hope the boys are keeping well.

Dear Greene family, I am sorry for your loss of your parents. I enjoyed working with your Dad when he called on me at Fred Meyer. After they retired, they shopped at my store and I got to know your Mom. I always looked forward to seeing them. They were very enjoyable to visit with.

Lynn and I, Maureen had many good times with Skip and Sue. We can’t believe they are both gone. We all went to England, and showed them many wonderful places with my family who live there. They made friends with Pat and Rob and stayed with them in England. We camped together, partied together, laughed and cried together. We will never forget them. Lynn and Skip worked together at Pepsi for many years. God bless them both, and may they be together again.

Sue was one of the most loving persons that I have ever met. She was a giver who wanted no recognition & loved to "pay it forward." She loved growing up in Woodland and was a loyal member of the class of 1966. She & Skip have two wonderful sons, Chris & Jason, and both have the same loving attributes as their Mom. I miss Sue every day & she'll always have a piece of my heart.

Susie and Skippy were such perfect neighbors. Hard to believe they died within a short time of each other.
