ROY LA MONTE SKILLINGS
August 24, 1933 ~ December 27, 2009
Roy La Monte Skillings, 77, died Dec. 27, 2009 at home in Boise, ID. He was born in Kelso, WA and graduated from La Center High.
Roy is survived by his wife, Bonnie; six siblings; seven daughters; four sons; 18 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A memorial will be held Sat., Jan. 16, 2010 at the American Legion Salmon Creek, 14011 NE 20th Ave. at 1:00 p.m.

He lived his life as he wanted to live it. He will be greatly missed by many.
Parker misses and loves his Papa. Dad and I didn't always see eye to eye but I know he loved me and I love him.

May the memories keep you strong thru your loss! I will always remember him with his cigar, smile and words of wisdom of "hanging in there!" He loved life, his family, horses and a great challenge! I remember when he came to town for his class reunion! He said, I could hardly recognize these folks- they sure looked old! And we both laughed because he said "thank goodness I still look this good!" He was a great person and he will be missed by all!
