RONALD RAYMOND EDWARDS
June 8, 1959 ˜ October 10, 2021

Ron was born to Robert and Patricia Edwards, in Vancouver, WA. He worked construction for his father and uncles and eventually bought the company. It became Western Construction. He then started Edwards Construction Group with his nephews, so the legacy could carry on. He also began commercial development in 2007 and created Felida and Pioneer Villages. The vision he had for Clark County will be enjoyed for years to come. He was an outdoorsman at heart, fishing, nature and bowling were where his heart was outside of business, but nothing was above family.
Ron was preceded in death by his father; brother, Jim; and son, Adam. He is survived by his wife, Jodie; his mother; daughters, Crystal, Erica and Hannah; his sister, Ann; and grandsons, Keegan and Grayson.

We met Ron & Jodie through our dear neighbors and friends, Cami & Roger. Ron was a wonderful man. He had an engaging sense of humor and was especially playful; children loved him because he was so much fun. Ron deserved to live a much longer life. Our condolences to Jodie & family. We will fondly remember Ron.

Ron was a gentleman with a sneaky sense of humor. When he got a chuckle out of someone there was always a twinkle in his eye. He will be missed

Ron and Hanna attended Medallion Art School for many months off and on over the years. As co-owner with my wife, Judi, who was his teacher, we got to know and like them. You could see the bonding between he and his daughter as they came in for lessons. I had previously been a general contractor too, so Ron and I hit it off quite well. He was always cheerful, joking and very knowledgeable about the many things we had conversations about. He gladly lined me up with some of his contacts when we were building out a new branch for the school and gave me good advice. Super likeable! We wish all of his family and friends the best of memories. Stay active Ron!

I worked at Western Construction as an administrative assistant for a few years in the mid 2000's. You could feel the pride and love Ron had for his family and his business. He treated his employees as family and I have fond memories working at WCS. Ron was hard, but fair, and was always willing to take the time to teach. What I will remember most is his full-hearted laugh that could bring anyone out of their deepest mood. Thank you for allowing me to feel part of your big, boisterous family. Many hugs to Ron's family and friends.
