Remembering this wonderful husband father son and friend. Miss his visits with our family so much. Spent lots of time with him growing up in California. Wonderful memories of a child who grew into a fantastic very thoughtful person. But we know he is in Gods loving hands ❤❤❤

Rick was one of the kind DTNA employees that made a extraordinary effort to welcome me and my family to my assignment in Mexico several years ago. He showed a genuine interest in helping me learn company processes although he was under no obligation to do so, and even passed on household goods to my family when he moved back to the US. Years later after I had left DTNA, I passed him by chance walking on the street in Portland--he recognized me and remembered my name and my family. Clearly, Rick knew how to treat other people. To me, that is the highest of praise.

To the Dronen Family,
The passing of your husband and father has saddened our hearts. Rick had a special presence about him that made everyone feel welcome. We respected him greatly as a volunteer within our soccer community and as a friend on the sidelines. Rick has made a positive impact on many lives. His kindness and great wisdom will carry on within all of us. The poet Yeats wrote "Count where man's glory most begins and ends, and say my glory is I had such friends." May God bless and comfort you and your family.
