NORMA JEANNE (DEMPSEY) NICHOLS
May 21, 1936 ~ October 17, 2016
"Our Mother loved her family
and will be greatly missed."

Jeanne was an avid bridge player and enjoyed choir. She was a long-time member of Vancouver USA Singers, even traveling to Europe to perform. Jeanne had deep religious beliefs and loved writing poetry. Collected in a binder, she enjoyed having her poetry read aloud.
Three years after husband George passed away, Jeanne moved to assisted living in Issaquah, WA.
Jeanne is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Charles Salley of Sammamish, WA, Cheri and Ken Burns of Aloha, OR, and Karen and George Wiggins of Belfair, WA; four grandchildren, Jared Welsh and Jennifer Schultz of OR, and Kyle Jones and Jesse Jones of WA; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Oct. 25, 2016 at 1p.m., at Mother Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Vancouver, WA.
