Norma Helen Loughry, 86, of Woodland, WA, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2022. She was born in Pomona, MO, on Nov. 30, 1935. She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Jim Loughry; and son, Jimmy. She is survived by her four daughters, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Helen was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin to countless beloved members of her large, extended family. She was also a beloved school bus driver for Woodland School District for over 25 years. She will be dearly missed. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers and trees, bird watching, and feeding the dozens of squirrels, bunnies, chipmunks and other animals who visited her home. She also took great pleasure in her koi ponds, waterfall and water wheel, and was an avid quilter.
Helen and Jim were active in Woodland Grange Hall where Jim was Master and Helen was indispensable in meetings, crafts, and social activities. A service will be held at Woodland Grand Hall on Saturday, May 14 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flower, please consider a donation to your charity of choice.

Helen always had a easy smile, last I saw her was about a year ago we took a walk around the garden and turn on the water fall and watch it run into the pond. We sat and talked of good times that we had driving those yellow school buses . She work so hard on her garden that she enjoyed so much. There always be a fond memory in my heart for Helen...she taught me to drive those yellow buses. Sincerely Arleta
