Celia Hoyt passed away Jan. 8, 2022, in Vancouver, WA. She was 88 years old. She was born May 8, 1933, in Omak, WA, to Dr. Glenn and Eunice Stevens.
She is survived by her brother, Dr. Louis Stevens; and sister, Lenore Werner. Her children are Steven Hoyt, Peggy Hoyt, Craig Hoyt, Penny Hedval, Pamela Wolff, Jeffrey Hoyt and stepchildren Robert Ferretti and Rita Nelson. Celia is survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was a Freshman at Emanuel Hospital Nursing School in 1952 and was married to Earl Hoyt from 1954 to 1977. Celia worked for the State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services in Vancouver for 20 years from 1979 to 2000 when she retired. Celia was an avid reader, she loved to crochet in her earlier years, and she always had a jigsaw puzzle on the side table. She grew beautiful flowers and loved working out in her yard.
Funeral service will be held at Northwood Park Funeral Home on Jan. 12, 2022, and she will be laid to rest at Park Hill Cemetery in Vancouver.
