Our deepest sympathies to Joyce and the family. Kaare was such a wonderful accordionist and I enjoyed listening to him play for years. We truly enjoyed our friendship through the years. He will be missed by many. R.I.P. Kaare.

We have lots of good memories of Kaare and Joyce, hearing of their travels to Norway and wintering in Yuma. He had a rich and full life and was loved much.

Kathie, so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. I have many fond memories of him. I first got acquainted with him when his first truck was a 1965 Chevrolet tractor with a Toro-flo diesel engine. He would bring it to our shop for repairs and we had to bust our buts to get him on the road. He then expanded to class 8 trucks which my dad sold to him. The beginning of his trucking empire. I have thought about him often since I retired in 2017. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

I assume this is the Kaare who worked at Timberline Lodge. I have fond memories of him. He was driving the new 20 passenger snow cat with RL, me, and my whole family from Minnesota on the maiden voyage with passengers. On the way back down the mountain the cat started speeding up and nothing seemed to be slowing it down, including emergency brakes etc. Kaare kept his cool, and managed to find an area with a little upward incline where he was able to stop it. Whew! He was so competent! Later I used to see his mail truck, but our paths never crossed again. RIP Kaare!
