JUNE RUTH (LENHART) BENNETT RHOADS
July 2, 1924 ~ February 7, 2015
June Ruth Rhoads, 90, of Vancouver, WA, passed away Feb. 7, 2015. She was the youngest of 10 children born to Milton Alfred and Hilda (Timony) Lenhart in Portland, OR.
June loved music and dancing, dogs, Johnny Carson/Jay Leno, crossword puzzles, Yahtzee, and riding in the motorcycle side car with her dog, Fritzi. Calendars were like her diaries, and everyone called her "mom", but mostly, she loved having her family close.
June is survived by her children, Eugene (DiAnn) Bennett, Bruce Bennett, Dean (Kathy) Bennett and Denise (Kevin) Bennett Charpilloz; and two granddaughters, Kim and Nicholle Bennett.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Gordon Grant Bennett and Earl Alfred Rhoads; and her partner in life, Art Bjork.
All who knew and loved June are welcome to her Celebration of Life service, Fri., Feb. 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at The Spare Room, 4830 NE 42nd Ave., Portland, OR.
