JON WISEMAN
September 20, 1948 ˜ January 28, 2022
Jon was born in Vancouver, WA, on Sept. 20, 1948, and passed away Jan. 28, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Christy; his two children, Beau Wiseman (wife Mary) and Michelle Ames (husband David); his grandchildren, Lucas (wife Samantha) Margot, Calleigh, and Ella; and two brothers, Jay and Joel. Jon was a faithful Christian and the family takes great comfort in knowing this separation is a temporary one.
He and Christy loved to travel; visiting Europe, Israel, Argentina, Bermuda as well as many National Parks. Jon also enjoyed cigars and wine and spent many pleasant afternoons with his friends sharing both. His Monday morning bible study group was an important part of his life and he always enjoyed the discussions. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The burial will be a closed ceremony, and a public memorial service will be held at New Heights Central Vancouver Campus on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that well-wishers make a donation to Hospice.

A good friend, a good husband, a strong Christian. Jon will be greatly missed. We miss his smile, his wisdom, and especially solving all our problems over a good cigar and glass of wine. We know he is in a good place celebrating with our Lord.
Our heart and our thoughts are with Christy and family.

We enjoyed being with Jon and Christy. Jon always was such gentle, loving man. We had the opportunity to attend some of his home bible studies and enjoyed his leadership and knowledge. He will be missed my many. God Bless
