JOHN M. JOLLYMORE
September 19, 1942 ˜ February 26, 2022
Our beloved, John M. Jollymore went to be with his Savior on Feb. 26, 2022. He was born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, to Elmore and Nellie Jollymore and was one of four children. At the age of 12, he moved to Renton, WA, and graduated from Renton High School class of 1960. He moved to Vancouver and received his Associate of Arts Degree from Clark College. His work career included Seattle Sportings Good, Pay’n Takit Grocery, and retired from Corwin Beverage Company.
On May 22, 1964, he married his beloved wife of 57 years, Shirley Herndon. They enjoyed spending time with family and friends, skiing, sailing, backpacking, traveling to Italy, and traveling to his favorite area, the Caribbean. He loved to introduce friends to the BVI ”bare boating” experience as their captain.
He will be greatly missed by many friends and family, including his wife, Shirley; son, Scott Jollymore (Des); grandson, Damen Jollymore; sister, Jayne Conwell of Pagosa Springs, CO; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to those who cared for John at Legacy Hospital. Donations may be made to Rescue Me’s Newfoundland at www.RescueMe.org.
