JAMES LEROY FAUST
July 6, 1948 ˜ September 5, 2022

James “Jim” Faust passed away peacefully in his sleep Sept. 5, 2022, at the age of 74, at his home in Vancouver, WA.
Jim was born July 6, 1948, in Oakland, CA. He grew up on the Oregon Coast and graduated from Seaside Union High School in 1966. He was very involved in sports and played football, basketball, and baseball.
After high school he studied at Clatsop Community College and married Linda (Holm) Wheeler. They had two sons, Michael and Nathan and were married for 22 years. Jim met Jan Faust in 1989 and they have been married since Feb. 21, 1998.
Jim spent 30+ years working for Coca Cola and retired in 2000. During retirement he worked odd jobs, spent time with his family and played many rounds of golf with his friends at “the club”. He was an avid Portland Timbers fan, attending every game he could and always making friends with those around him!
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ruby Faust; and siblings, Eugene Faust and Judith Harper. He is survived by his wife, Jan; children, Michael Faust, Jennifer Holbrook (Ryan), Nathan Faust (Ali), and Kris Moore (Ron); and grandchildren, Madison (Maegan), Molly (Jake), Wyatt, Colette, and Everett; and his beloved dog, Hank.
To honor Jim’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on Oct. 8 at Club Green Meadows from 2 to 4 p.m.
