Herman E. Fraser
HERMAN E. FRASER Herman E. Fraser, 89, a Vancouver, WA resident since 1988, passed away March 25, 2006. He was born October 11, 1916 at St. Stephen, NB, Canada. Herman served in the Canadian Air Force as a pilot during WWII. He retired in 1981 after 20 years as a maintenance supervisor at the University of California, Irvine. He enjoyed playing Bridge with many good friends and trips to the casino. He was much loved and will be missed terribly. Survivors include a sister, Mildred Linton of Charlotte, NB, Canada; brother, Elwell Pierce of St. Stephen, NB, Canada; son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Marlene Fraser; four grandchildren, Tamara, Cindi, Laurie Ann, and Steven; and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Madeline and son, Gordon Fraser. At his request, no services will be held. His ashes will be scattered at Mt. St. Helens.

My wife and I have lived next to
Herman for 18years,we could have not
asked for a better nieghbor.He was
always there for us.He also became
a good friend.

I have very fond memories of Herman. He came to dinner at my home several times as the guest of my mother, Lucille Leiner, and was always a fun person to have as a guest. I also went to a casino with him one time and thoroughly enjoyed his company. What a gentleman he was. I will miss him.
