HECTOR G. FLORES
Hector G. Flores passed away peacefully at home in Battle Ground Nov. 12, 2021, surrounded by family.
Hector was a proud veteran, serving as a missile launcher mechanic in the US Army in 1970-72.
Born in Corpus Christi, TX, he made many friends in the Portland and Vancouver area during the 49 years since he moved to the Pacific Northwest, including numerous members of the health care community who he considered cherished friends.
He is survived by wife of nearly 50 years, Nancy; his children, David and Stephanie; his granddaughter, Olivia; and his twin brother, Humberto G. Flores Sr. He has many beloved family members in Vancouver, WA, Portland, OR, and in Dallas, Lewisville, Natalia, and Corpus Christi, TX.
In lieu of flowers please contribute in his name to any charity, especially those serving military families, food banks, or children’s health and welfare organizations.
Hector was a blessed recipient in the Legacy Health Kidney Transplant Services program in Portland.
The family is especially grateful to the Community Home Health and Hospice team for making Hector’s final days filled with care, love and peace at home.
