Don was my neighbor many years ago in Cascade Park in Vancouver. My daughter use to babysit his children. I remember Don as being such a sweet and nice guy, a very loving father and a wonderful neighbor. I was happy to have known Don.

Don and I were great friends in our youth, fourth, fifth and six grade. Harney, Mac High,Hudson's Bay and Clark. We were in the same Cub Scout den and played little league base ball. The memories of our youth makes me smile. Donny was a very easy person to spend time with, and we had great adventures. We went on our first double date to the Broadway in the Sixth grade with Jan and Donna. Makes me smile.

I used to babysit Jamie, Chad & Sandy when they were little and Don was always a kind, compassionate man. It sounds like there were MANY he loved and they loved him back. My condolences to the family. God Bless.
