DELBERT RALPH MYERS, SR
June 30, 1930 ~ February 25, 2014
Delbert Ralph Myers, Sr., 83, of Vancouver, WA, passed away at home Feb. 25, 2014. He was born June 30, 1930 to Ralph and Florence Myers in Richland, CA.
Del's passions in life were his family, fishing, long periods of talking and meeting new people on the CB radio, singing, and playing guitar.
Del loved life and now has begun a new journey.
Sing with the angels, dad. We love you.
Del leaves behind seven children: Delbert Jr., Don, David, DeeDee, Doris, Daris and Douglas; 12 grand- children; 10 great-grandkids; and longtime caregiver, Maria Cervantes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; four brothers; and two sisters.
Services are to be held 10:00 a.m., Sat., March 1, 2014 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with reception to follow.

Rest in peace cousin whom I have not seen in many many years. To your family:
Delbert and Henry used to spend time with my brothers, Al an Bob Pleiss on our parents (Tony and Florence Pleiss) farm on the hill in Washougal. Al and Clifford my other brother have passed on. Bob lives in Battle Ground as do two of his children and grandchildren. My sister June, lives in Redmend, Oregon and I live in Knappa, Oregon, just east of Astoria, Or. My husband, Bill Heaton, passed away December 18. Good luck and rember to the good times.

Will I dear friend of years, we met you back in the 70's. Went to a lot of CB, get together. Heard you sing a many of time's. Now your up with my twin sister, talking about the good old times. You will be missed by us all. God place the family.

To the friend I never met in person, a great and fun neighbor that used to chatter up the airways with all of us.In the after life I know 119 will cheer up many souls as he moves onto his next journey.
