On March 21, 1975, Charles Edward Nickles was born in Klamath Falls, OR.
He was only 46 years old when he passed away at his residence in St. Helens, OR, Sept. 4, 2021. He was named after his two grandfathers Charles Johnson and Edward Solomon.
Charlie is survived by his mother, Karon Newman; his stepmother, Lori Nickles; his sister, Mallory Nickles; his father, Matthew Nickles; and his uncle, Tim Nickles. A special thank you is due for Karon's sister Sydney Bowers who flew in from Tennessee to help Charlie’s father and mother deal with Charlie’s passing.
Charlie was an avid collector of American paper money and was known among his friends for his love of Star Wars and Star Trek. Charlie is deeply mourned by his good friend Scott Gray and his girlfriend Inga in Duryea, PA.
Burial arrangements are still pending due to COVID restrictions.

Charlie,You will always be alive within my heart and memories, my dearest friend, my brother from another mother. You had a heart of gold. Pure of heart, Earth Angel and now finally home with God. I will miss and love you always and forever and even the day after that. Until we meet again Rest in peace Charlie!
