Wilma E. Nosko passed away peacefully March 23, 2011 at home with family by her side in Vancouver, WA at the age of 71.
She was born January 7, 1940 to Lester and Lenora Howell in Post Falls, ID. There she was raised and educated.
Wilma worked as a cook for Skamania Elementary School for approx. 5 years. In 1982 she moved to Vancouver where she worked at the Elks Lodge and Safeway Deli.
She married David Nosko in 1984. Wilma enjoyed crocheting, gardening, mushrooming, canning, and baking.
Survivors include her husband, David at home; two sons, Glen H. Hodges Jr. of Santa Barbara, CA, Gregory S. Hodges of Vancouver, WA; daughter, Elaine M. Evenson of Vancouver, WA; stepson, Duane A. Nosko of San Diego, CA; stepdaughter, Tracey R. Sorric of Oceanside, CA; brother, Lauren Howell of Spokane, WA; sister in-law Bette McLain of Bellevue, WA; uncle Pete Nosko of Brush Prairie, WA; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
At her request there will be no services.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Kaiser Hospice.
Arrangements are under the care of Davies Cremation and Burial Services.
